What format does the import take?

Excel workbooks — one listing the electrical panels and their circuits, one listing the tools with their loads, sizes, and floor locations. FacilityConnect reads the workbook shape your team already maintains.

Our spreadsheets are messy. Is that a problem?

That’s the normal case. Our engineers map your columns onto the import template as part of the engagement — you send the files as they are.

What happens when the data changes?

Re-import the updated workbook. The model updates in place — assets are matched by name and revision, so a re-import updates rather than duplicates. That’s what keeps the model living instead of a snapshot.

Does this cover mechanical as well as electrical?

Yes. One model holds both — every system and piece of equipment comes out of one set of assumptions.

How much work is it on our side?
